Thank you for sharing your idea.

Currently the Gender field in the Practitioner Profile is a free text field.

When typing, Male and Female do appear as suggestions if they match what is being typed, however a user can enter whatever they wish in the field.

Although we currently have an 'Other' option in the client record, we would like to move away from this type of input in the future as this can be deemed as "Othering" by those that do not identify as Male/Female.

Please do let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions on how to make coreplus more inclusive.
