Option to write notes in calendar rather than appointments

Currently we are entering non-billable appointments into the calendar as notes for our psychologists such as "Break", "No more", "Late start" etc, but this affects the reports and totals for appointments (e,g the appointment totals on the dashboard). It would be great to have an option/ category for an appointment to be a "note" so that it doesn't get counted as an appointment .

I do the same. And I agree, it would be helpful to have these blocked out timeslots (which are not actually appointments) not included in the apt summary etc. It kind of means the appointment summary is irrelevant and is unable to be used for meaningful data.

Hi Steven,
We have created appointment types for this purpose but as they are still "appointments" they still get counted. For instance, the appointment total on the dashboard gives us an incorrect number of appointments for our psychologists because these "non-billable" appointments are counted.
The ability to double click on a time slot in the calendar and create a note rather than an appointment would be great.

Hi,A common workflow used in this situation is to create Appointment Types for recurring admin or non clinical events, such as CPD, Leave, Admin, Break, Personal etc. Using Appointment Types for these events means that they can be excluded from reporting whereas a note within an appointment is more difficult to exclude. Another related option might be to use the Reminder feature, but that may not suit your requirement.
