Patients would find it convenient to be able to click on a link to add a text message reminder or email reminder in to their calendar on their phone or computer.

Adding an option in the SMS/email reminders for clients to add an appointment to their calendar will definitely add value to the automatic reminders.
If you do have the client portal setup, clients booking through the portal will be able to add an appointment to their preferred calendar once they have confirmed their details.
I'll be sure to update this idea once I have more information for you.
