Link Case Notes to Specific Appointment Date

Currently when notes are finalised, they just become date stamped and appear in a long list which is hard to navigate. It would be great to have the case notes linked to the actual appointment that they're for, and then rather than having to scroll through all notes if you're trying to find an old one, you could search for the specific date of the appointment and have the note appear.

I agreed with this totally. I find it very hard when my clients have a weekly appointment. The notes build up and I have to scroll to find what I'm looking for wasting valuable time.

Hi Lauren,Thank you for raising this idea with us.We do have plans to implement a way of searching and filtering saved case notes in the future. For now, if you're searching for a particular date you could use the browser's search function to find the relevant note. By pressing ctrl + F (on a windows computer) or cmd + F (on an apple computer) you'll be able to search through text on a page.

Hi Steven,
The second option (list of appointments in the notes section) sounds great and would reallt work for me!
Cheers,
James

Hi James,Thanks for your suggestion. One way to achieve this would be to create the case note from the Appointment screen which would populate the matching Appointment Date. Another would be to show a list of the clients Appointments within the Case Notes section. Did you have a preference for either of these or another suggestion?

The session note date should have an option to be the date of the session, not the date of publication
